Volunteers
We are seeking motivated individuals, interested in making a real impact within the community and the Historical Society.
We often find ourselves needing extra hands at events and lectures. As a volunteer, you get to participate in events and lectures, learn more about St. Louis, and become more connected with the community.

Interns
The Historical Society is a non-profit, which allows us to support the community without the hustle and bustle of a traditional business.
We are looking for youth or young community members who are interested in learning more about local history, leadership, digital marketing and media, community engagement, public speaking, and so much more.

Become A Docent
Become a docent and help keep local history alive! As a volunteer, you play a vital role in preserving our community’s story by keeping our doors open and inspiring visitors to learn more about the place they live and explore.
Becoming a docent is as simple as volunteering just a few hours of your time to help run the museum. It’s as simple as greeting visitors with a smile, sharing information about our exhibits, and sparking curiosity; who knows, you might even learn something new yourself!
